The full-day lineup kicked off on the festival stage early in the afternoon with a fiery performance from Hyro the Hero and wound up with Thrice on the main stage, capping off the festival’s stop in New England.
Following Hyro the Hero on the festival stage was Juliet Simms, Trophy Eyes, Memphis May Fire, Four Year Strong and Sleeping With Sirens. Crowd surfers were aplenty, cresting and crashing over the sweaty pit of fans into the area of the front of the stage, only to pick themselves up and ride the waves again as the acts churned out their brand of up-tempo rock ‘n roll.
After the final crunching chords of “If You Can’t Hang” from Sleeping With Sirens, the action moved over to the main stage as concertgoers got a respite from the blazing sun.
First to get things re-cranked up was Atreyu as they lit into a frenzied version of “The Time is Now,” kicking off a 10-song blitz that featured their version of Bon Jovi’s “You Give Love A Bad Name” and was capped off with a searing rendition of “Blow.”
The Story So Far was next to hit the stage and were followed by Circa Survive, The Used and finally Thrice.
