Pete RG came to rock the Cape…

On the first Bike Night of the season in Cape Coral, Shannon of the Nevermind Awesome Bar & Eatery wanted to have a little get together at his place. With roughly 10,000 people roaming, the newly redesigned SE 47th Terrace, there was quite a crowd growing to see Pete RG and Candlebox. We do not have a head count however, we do know there were 1500 tickets available and the venue was packed with eager fans to hear some great music. Those who did purchase tickets were treated to some delicious barbecue and plenty of drinks to get the party started.

From the moment, that Pete RG took the stage and the first note rang out the crowd gathered closer to the stage. This is definitely a tight knit band and their music and interaction with each other on stage really showed that. The crowd was definitely into it and by the expression on RG’s face; it seemed he was digging the experience as well. “Pete RG was amazing, the amount of talent on that stage captivated everyone in attendance. I’m looking forward to bringing these guys back to town,” stated Ragen St Peter, owner of Ragemore Events.

Pete RG is an American Indie, singer‐songwriter and producer from Los Angeles, CA. The name, RG, came from his childhood moniker, Argy, an abbreviation of his lengthy, Greek last name, Argyropoulos. The band features RG on lead vocals/rhythm guitar, Dave Krusen (Original Pearl Jam Drummer and Hall of Fame Inductee) on drums, Adam Kury (Candlebox Bassist) on bass, Kevin Haaland (Former Skillet Guitarist) on lead guitar, and Brina Kabler on keys and background vocals.

Since 2015 there have been three records released. Lightning Strikes came out in February of 2015 with five great songs on it. It was quickly followed up with Reaching For The Moon in October of that year. In September of 2016, Tender Souls was released.

Back in September, the track “Heaven Knows” from the Tender Souls album was featured in the premiere episode of “God Friended Me” on CBS.

On October 5th the debut single from the forthcoming album Whatever We Want, Whenever We Want was released. “Watching The River Go By”, much like the other songs was influenced by the volatile time in which we live, especially the lyrics.

“Watching The River Go By” is available on all major platforms and through the band’s site at www.pete‐rg.com.

Pete RG has also released a lyric video for the single, which is available here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2in0etgyTM

In our recent interview with bassist Adam Kury he stated, “With this record that’s coming out, we already have another six new songs already recorded for the next release. So, we’re kind of like way ahead. We’ve snuck one or two into the set and actually one of those that’s coming across well is “Watching The River Go By”. We’re playing that every night along with most of the rest of that album. I’ve been really happy with the reactions we’re getting from people. People are digging the set. They seem to be into it.”
