The hot ticket in town on Friday night was the 2022 Freestyle Explosion Throwback Jam which included 12 of the biggest names in Freestyle music and ‘90s throwbacks as they came together for one electrifying night of live music. This year’s lineup consisted of Lisa Lisa, Stevie B, and ‘80s Pop Sensations The Jets, The Cover Girls, Brenda K Starr, Connie, J.J. Fad, Lil Suzy, Lisette Melendez, Noel, Sugar Hill Gang, and TKA K7.
This lineup influenced the ‘80s and ‘90s with their pop, dance, and club music, which remains widely popular and in rotation with today’s hits. Fans could be seen dancing and singing along to hit after hit as they relived hits from the ‘80s and ‘90s! Hit songs such as:
