The One of Them Ones Tour Touches Down in Tampa

Chris Brown and Lil Baby and the sold-out One of Them Ones Tour ascended upon Tampa and the Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheater on Saturday night. The 27-date co-headline tour, presented by Rolling Loud, kicked off in Raleigh, NC on July 15th making stops across North America in New York, Chicago, and Atlanta, before wrapping up in Las Vegas on August 27th.  Joining the festivities on Saturday night were DJ Fresh and Druski.

This isn’t the first time that Brown and Baby have worked together as the pair were featured on Tory Lanez’s track “Flexible,” which was released in 2018. The tour coincides with the release of Brown’s tenth studio album, Breezy, released in June. While Lil Baby, recently dropped a couple of new music videos “In A Minute” & “Right On”, followed by another new song “Frozen,” as he teases the release of his latest album.

Druski was the first up, emerging on stage in an unassuming manner as if he had crashed the party.  The internet comedian quickly engaged the crowd and seemed to set the tempo for the evening. After a quick set, Druski would make way for Lil Baby.

As Lil Baby emerged on top of a three-piece high-rise platform, he leaped into hits like “Wants & Needs,” “On Me,” and “Baby” as the rapper’s diamonds on his wrist and neck sparkled as they danced along. After “Close Friends,” 10 songs into the set, Baby would leave the stage and give way to Chris Brown.

The transitions between sets were seamless throughout the evening, but Breezy’s elaborate entrance was well worth it. The “Loyal” singer floated high above and was lowered onto the stage amongst a video backdrop of multiple Browns being lowered. Laced in a black sleeveless hoodie with a pair of mirrored shades, he kicked off the set with “Forbidden” alongside a dozen dancers. The fluid choreography continued into his second song, “Hit My Line,” before taking a moment to thank his fans.

The show rotated between the two artists performing mini-sets back-to-back. Lil Baby touched the stage for half an hour before trading places with Chris Brown, then returned before Breezy closed the show.
