Square Hammer held service at South Street

Square Hammer is a band hailing from Helltown, California, paying tribute to Ghost by spreading their gospel to the masses at South Street City Oven and Grill in Naples, FL.

They’ve been traveling all over the US with their version of Papa Emeritus III playing music from the Meliora album.

Papa Emeritus III was introduced by Ghost back in 2015 with the release of Meliora. He was dragged off the stage and forced to retire at the end of the Popestar Tour in 2017.

Meliora has had quite a bit of play over the last few years with many songs becoming mainstream hits especially the song “Square Hammer” from which this group adopted it’s name.

Much like the band Ghost, there is a cloud of mystery surrounding Square Hammer and the members of the Dark Legion. The show put on by Square Hammer was actually quite good. These are all top notch musicians who really get into it because they love the music. If they come to your area check them out!!

South Street City Oven & Grill is not your typical rock bar nor is it a large venue. What they are is a great place with some of the best food that allows you the opportunity to get up close and personal with your favorite acts from various genres. We love this place and the people and we try to get here as often as we can!! You can check out South Street on Facebook as well as their website: www.southstreetnaples.com
