Southern Rock band join the Biketober 2018 festivities returned to the Seminole Harley Davidson for a second time this year, but this time to join the Biketober 2018 festivities in Sanford, FL. The band is known for its high-energy stage performances and good ol’ Southern Rock music continues to draw in fans both young and old.
As music and the industry continue to redefine itself, Blackfoot continues to make waves with their own formula of southern rock infused with that classic hard rock sound to go with a vintage live experience that leaves even the newest of fans wanting more.
Fans were treated to exactly that at Biketober 2018 as the band played songs from the 2016 release, Southern Native, mixed in with classic hits such as “Train, Train” and “Highway Song”.
The band’s current lineup consists of lead guitarist Tim “Freak” Rossi, vocalist Jeff Shields, guitarist Seth Lester, bassist Derek DeSantis, and drummer Matt Anastasi. Blackfoot co-founder and Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Rickey Medlocke handpicked these five musicians to represent the new generation of Blackfoot as he stepped into a producing roll.
