Slayer saying goodbye with One Final World Tour

Earlier this year Slayer announced that it would do one last concert tour around the globe to thank their fans for all of their support over the past 37 years. Slayer has made some of the most brutal, breathtakingly aggressive, all-hell’s-breaking-loose music ever created, and being the band that other heavy acts measured against and aspire to. The band’s membership in “The Big Four” along with Metallica, Megadeath, and Anthrax are the bands that defined the trash metal genre and forever remembered for their accomplishments in music history.

Lamb of God, Anthrax, Behemoth and Testament have supported Slayer on the first leg of its final world tour; however, they lose Behemoth but add Napalm Death during the second leg of the world tour. The band has also announced dates in the UK and Europe for October and November. That being said France’s Hellfest festival has just announced that Slayer will be headlining their event in June of 2019.

Slayer has released 12 studio albums, multiple live recordings, live video and two box sets, played nearly 3000 concerts worldwide, five Grammy nominations and two Grammy awards, Gold records, and they have its own exhibit in the Smithsonian Institute.

The Slayer Final World Tour landed in Orlando, FL and fed the sold-out crowd a heavy dose of metal madness that shook the Orlando Amphitheatre.
