Hundreds gathered during Riot & Rebels at the England Brothers Bandshell in Pinellas Park to raise money and awareness for Don’t Bury Good Organs. Joining in on the fun were LifeLink of Florida, OneBlood and Be The Match.
Don’t Bury Good Organs is a non-profit organization focused on raising awareness for the importance of being an organ donor. Their organization also raises funds for organ transplant recipients and organ donor families to assist in paying the unexpected costs associated with giving and receiving the gift of life through organ donation. Blackfoot hit stage and proceeded to rock everyone in attendance. The crowd gathered around quickly as they kept playing those rockin’ tunes. Molly Hatchet came out strong and sounded fantastic! Jimmy Elkins did one hell of a job with the vocals and as usual the rest of the band was freakin’ fantastic. Quiet Riot hit the stage and the people went crazy as the band, led by singer Jizzy Pearl, rocked them as hard as they could. It was a great mix of new and classic QR songs. Chuck Wright was killin’ it on bass and Alex Grossi was wild on the guitar. Their new album “Hollywood Cowboys” is schedule to release on November 8th.
