The Swedish heavy rock band LUCIFER cruised into Tampa’s Ybor City district for the first of four Florida shows before wrapping up the third and final leg of their North American headlining tour. The tour began January 14 in Nashville and wraps up with a 4-show stint in Florida. Joining LUCIFER on this final leg was Savage Master from Louisville and Overdose from NYC.
A quiet Thursday night in Ybor City was short lived as the sounds of heavy 70s hard rock spiced the night air as LUCIFER led by the band’s front woman Johanna Sadonis rocked through the Crowbar. The band’s vintage rock look and electric sound was reminiscent of heavy rock greats, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple. The band moved flawlessly through their hour long set as the crowd showed their approval by responding favorably.
LUCIFER has been touring nonstop in support of their recent full-length album Lucifer II, while celebrating massive success of the album. The album charted at #40 on the German charts, #1 on the Swedish vinyl and hard rock charts, and #2 on the physical album charts.
The band’s latest body of work, Lucifer III, is set to be released in March of this year via Century Media Records.
