DUA LIPA TO EMBARK ON US LEG OF THE FUTURE NOSTALGIA TOUR

LAUNCHES SERVICE95

Dua Lipa, the global pop superstar, and multi GRAMMY and BRIT award-winning singer-songwriter, has launched the first issue of her new project, the weekly newsletter Service95.

Service95 is a global style, culture, and society concierge service created to help the reader make sense of the world. It will serve up a considered curation of stories, information, thoughts, perspectives, and conversations you won’t hear, see or read anywhere else. There will be powerful articles from the world’s most compelling voices alongside savvy social commentary, laugh-out-loud features, and left-of-center recommendations that will include little-known hotspots, up-and-coming artists, and grassroots activists.

Service95 is inspired by Dua’s lifelong habit of personally curating extensive recommendations and lists, highlighting under-the-radar people, pieces of pop culture, travel destinations, hidden gems, and global issues to her closest friends. Now everyone will be invited to Dua’s inner circle. “The more we share with each other, the closer we become, the wider our circles grow,” Dua says.

Subscribers to Service95’s free weekly newsletter will receive up-to-the-minute intel on everything and anything. Issue 001 includes a need-to-know on Amapiano, the new wave of South African House music, Sinead Burke’s clarion call for diversity and accessibility, Hong Kong’s all-female roller derby crew, an under the radar Parisian homeware haunt, and Dua’s personal London restaurant recommendations.

“I find huge joy in telling people what I’ve learned about in any given city and love finding connection in our shared experiences,” Dua says. “Service95 is going to take that idea and bring it to anyone who’s as curious as I am about life.”

Dua is also set to embark on the US leg of her highly anticipated Future Nostalgia Tour, which features support from Caroline Polachek and Lolo Zouaï, with Megan Thee Stallion joining on select dates. The tour, produced by Ceremony London, promoted by Live Nation, and sponsored by Truly Hard Seltzer, will be the first time Dua connects her live vision for Future Nostalgia in-person with fans.

About Dua Lipa

Global pop superstar Dua Lipa firmly solidified her position as both a critical success and top radio performer when she released her Grammy award-winning #1 UK sophomore album Future Nostalgia in 2020 to worldwide acclaim. The album was the follow-up to her eponymous 2017 debut, which is certified platinum, spawned 6 platinum tracks, and made Dua the first female artist in Brit Awards history to pick up five nominations, with two wins for British Breakthrough Act and British Female Solo Artist.

Future Nostalgia landed on the year-end “Best Of” lists of everyone from Rolling Stone and Billboard to Pitchfork and was the longest-running top 10 album by a female artist on the Billboard 200 in 2021. It is certified platinum in the US & UK and spawned multiple worldwide hit singles including the #1 tracks “Break My Heart,” “Levitating,” which is the longest-running song ever on Spotify’s Today’s Top Hits playlist, and US 4x platinum lead single “Don’t Start Now,” which broke her personal best record of weeks at #1 at US Top 40 radio.

In addition to breaking radio records, Dua is also a dominant force on streaming platforms, topping Spotify’s artist chart as the most streamed female artist on the platform and is currently the fourth biggest artist overall with over 69 million monthly listeners. Future Nostalgia now has over 8 billion streams across all platforms worldwide and was the #1 most-streamed album of 2020 on Spotify. Dua received 6 nominations at the 2021 Grammys, including Record, Song, and Album of the Year. She is now a three-time Grammy winner, having received awards for Best Pop Vocal Album last year and for Best New Artist and Best Dance Recording in 2019.
