Their journey from local Chicago venues to international stages is a testament to their talent and the impact of their music and on Saturday night in Tampa, it was all on display.
The Take Back Your Life summer 2023 North American 36-date tour kicked off at Montreal’s Bell Centre on April 27th, featuring special guest Breaking Benjamin, and is the band’s first full tour since 2018.
Breaking Benjamin is known for its post-grunge and alternative rock sound that creates an atmosphere that resonates with fans and newcomers alike. The crowd erupts in cheers as the curtain falls and the band takes the stage led by frontman Ben Burnley. As the curtain drops, the band launches into their setlist with a burst of energy, opening with “Hey You” off of Divisive the band’s eighth studio album released in 2022 via Reprise Records. The crowd sings along to every word, their voices blending with the music to create a sense of unity. The stage presence is nothing short of mesmerizing, with David Draiman engaging the crowd in between songs, sharing anecdotes, and expressing gratitude for their dedicated fanbase.

Lead vocalist David Draiman, with his signature powerful and distinctive voice, commands the stage from the center as the rest of the band—Dan Donegan on guitar, John Moyer on bass, and Mike Wengren on drums—occupy their respective spots, creating a tight-knit and visually captivating formation.
