At the Basement East in Nashville a whirlwind of excitement filled the air as the masses waited for Crobot to take the stage. Currently Crobot is touring with The Jab, Like Machines and Aeges.
The Jab is an up and coming band from Chicago and definitely a band to keep on your radar. The band’s lead singer, Jam Alker, belts out bluesy rock tones that get your body wanting to get out of your seat and move. Check out their current album Consume.
Like Machine hard rock sound shook the entire stage and venue. Their hard-hitting riffs could be felt through out the venue as the fans movement literally shook the floor to its core. Go check out their latest EP Hear Freedom Ring that is a mix of songs released in 2019 plus some newer songs. Like Machine will also be heading out on tour with Pop Evil on selected dates starting in June.
Unfortunately this was Aeges last leg of the tour with Crobot, and the age-old joke of “Why do wicked witches not wear underwear? Was finally answered.” You’ll have to attend one of their shows to get the answer! As Aeges was rocking the stage with their gritty rock and roll sounds, Crobot (in their playful spirit) left many gifts on the stage like a microwave, pineapple, set of deer antlers and a floor light among other random stuff. Their latest album is Drommen was just released end of January.
Crobot and their charismatic personalities shook the venue to its core. From the stage shenanigans of hatching from an egg, a sword fight, “the Cowboys” and finally the dance off, not a moment was dull or uneventful. The energy this band puts into their show is contagious that even the fans in the back were head banging and dancing along by the first few notes. Crobot’s deep hard rock blasts and witty behavior entertained the crowd by reassuring them with honesty and spontaneity not to mention passing out blow pops at the end of the night. Check out Crobot’s music with their newest album Motherbrain.
