Co-headliners Korn and Alice in Chains shake-up Nashville…

Hard rock mainstays Korn teamed up with grunge legends Alice in Chains to rock Nashville at the Bridgestone Arena. The Nothing Tour began in Texas on July 18, with stops in Nashville, Denver, Toronto and other major cities before wrapping up in Mountain View, California on September 4. Joining the headliners were Underoath and Ho99o9 (pronounced horror).

Korn recently announced the band will be releasing their 13th album, THE NOTHING, via Roadrunner Records/Elektra on September 13 which is the band’s first release since 2016’s The Serenity of Suffering.

Brian “Head” Welch said of the upcoming album, “We’ve got some amazing tricks up our sleeves,” adding, “fans are going to be pleasantly surprised.”

The lead single from the upcoming record “You’ll Never Find Me” can be seen below.

Metalheads, young and old, launched into full metal-mode as the curtain dropped and Korn broke into  “Here to Stay” as the crowd erupted, launching a sea of metal horns throughout the venue in approval.

The evening included classic Jonathan Davis on bagpipes for “Shoots and Ladders” with a twist that included the band transitioning into “One” by Metallica for a brief moment which brought the roof down.

Once again, this time during “Coming Undone” the band broke into a mashup of Queen’s “We Will Rock You” as fans sang right along to the Queen classic.

The band delivered a vintage in-your-face 15-song set that included songs from eight different albums including the initial release, “You’ll Never Find Me” from their upcoming album.
