Alter Bridge soothes the Nashville night…

Nashville, TN is filled with the persona that its all country there; however, that’s far from the case. Alter Bridge lit up the War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville, TN kicking off their tour Walk the Line Tour February 8th in Nashville, TN and running through the Midwest and West Coast before wrapping up February 27th in Spokane, WA with special guest Deepfall and Clint Lowery.

Deepfall is a rock band out of Greenville, MI with more of an alt-rock sound that was perfectly in tune for the tour. So many bands lack the charisma of wanting to be on stage but not Deepfall. Their enthusiasm and love for what they do was evident in their attitudes and style. Even though there was a gap between the crowd and stage, the fans were drawn in to the band with their constant thrashing and head banging on the stage. For many this was the first time ever hearing of Deepfall and what an amazing way to be introduced to them. This is defiantly a band to keep on your radar. Deepfall released their latest album “Broken” on digital platforms everywhere in October 2019.

Clint Lowery is widely known for his work as a guitarist and vocalist in Sevendust; however, in 2020 Lowery was able to release his first full length solo record God Bless The Renegades via Rise Records on January 31, 2020. He also has released multiple EP’s under the name Hello Demons Meet Skeletons in the past. Clint’s soulful rocker tone puts you at ease while drawing you in wanting more at every note. From the stark vocals to the hard-hitting riffs, Clint Lowery shows his talent of what he can do as a solo artist.

As the night grew late it was time for Alter Bridge to take the stage. As the lights dimmed, Myles Kennedy slowly walked onto the stage as his voice broke through the venue the lights came alive along with the crowd. The sound of the alternative metal/classic rock pounded through the historic venue and down the streets of Nashville for all to hear of the wailing solos, dueling guitar rifts, and exploding drum beats.

The band on the heels of their first career #1 on the Top Current Albums Chart in the US and guitarist Mark Tremonti being voted Guitarist of the Decade by Guitar World magazine. ALTER BRIDGE fresh off ShipRocked where they co-headlined alongside Halestorm. The current tour is named after their latest released album, Walk the Sky, was released in October via Napalm Records.

Alter Bridge started their set with the intense song “Wouldn’t You Rather” followed with a throwback to “Isolation.” The band’s hard hitting, versatile high octane set never fails to deliver and fans never seem to be disappointed.
