Central Florida’s Lydia Can’t Breathe ventured down the I-4 corridor for a Saturday night show at the Brass Mug in Tampa. Joining the festivities were Moksha, Forgiving Silence, VRB, Detoura, Silence Equals Death, The Cunningham Wake, and Funeral Plans. It was a perfect way to unwind with an evening of nonstop in-your-face metal.
With eight bands taking the stage, sets were short as bands shuffled on and off the stage in rapid succession. Lydia Can’t Breathe kicked off their set with “Mercy” as a heavy dose of smoke covered the stage. The band maneuvered diligently through their set covering nine songs including fan favorites “Ups and Downs” and “Sheep”.
Lydia Can’t Breathe consists of Kyle Bolduc (lead vocals, guitar), Ryan Cowell (guitar), Josh Runfeldt (drums), and Shad Roundy (bass). The band released their latest single, “Wasted” earlier this summer via Winner Records.
