For over 30 years 98 Rock has been rocking Tampa harder than anyone else and just recently they held the 11th 98 Rockfest at Amalie Arena which featured FREE performances by The Blue Stones, Glorious Sons, P.O.D. and Scratch & Sniff on the plaza stage.
Later that afternoon Motionless in White, Rival Sons, Underoath, Three Days Grace, and Godsmack melted faces on the inside with some sweet sets of rocking music.
The Blue Stones got the party rolling as they took to the stage in the early afternoon as people continuously poured into the plaza. 2018 was a good year for the Blue Stones as they signed with Entertainment One and released they released the Black Holes album. They’ve also released a video for “Black Holes (Solid Ground)” https://youtu.be/ToNMrcuudMA

Grammy nominated Tampa rockers Underoath took to the stage with their high energy and hard-hitting show much to the delight of fans in attendance. One thing that really stood out to me about their set was that Christopher Dudley was non-stop throughout the show. He is a wild man!! The rest of the band was just as entertaining, and it was cool to see they had some young family members on the side of the stage watching the show.

These guys have been rocking hard since way back in 1997 and it doesn’t look like they’ll be stopping anytime soon, thankfully!! 2019 started off great for the band as they had won the ”Rock Artist of the Year” at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards. It was the end of the night and the mighty Godsmack was coming up next.
