The 17th Annual Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg returns to the downtown streets and waterfront. Round 2 of the 2021 NTT INDYCAR SERIES headlines the race weekend. Five support series will each feature doubleheader races with additional open-wheel action, showroom stock cars, and the high-flying stadium trucks all on track.
St. Pete officials recently announced that the city council has unanimously approved 20,000 fans at the Firestone Grand Prix set for April 23-25. Competitors, spectators, and all associated with the event will be subject to a health screening and temperature check before entry is permitted. Fans will be required to wear masks or facial coverings at all times unless when eating or drinking with the “No Mask, No Entry” plan.
