Eyes Set to Kill rolled into Ybor on Monday night headlining a lineup that included four local Florida bands and Convictions at The Orpheum on 7th Avenue. Eyes Set To Kill‘s self-titled album was released earlier this year through Century Media which was produced by Sam Graves and mixed and mastered by Joe Graves of Innersound Audio. The self-titled album contains 13 tracks and is a follow-up to the bands 2013 album, “Masks”.

Local Sarasota metal band Fiends shined as their relentless energy and intensity set the tone for evening. Local metal fans Fiends is a must see if you have not done so already.

Convictions, led by vocalist Michael Felker, a Christian metalcore band hailing from Ohio  brought their unique style from their pre-show huddle to urging the fans to come closer to kneeling down to speak with the crowd regarding the recent tragedy in South Florida. Felker and bandmates delivered an emotional set. Finally, it was time…

Headliner Eyes Set To Kill took the stage led by vocalist/guitarist Alexia Rodriguez and guitarist A.J. Bartholomew as they delivered an inspiring set of metal infused guitar riffs and vocals. The set included a kick-ass rendition of the Cranberries “Zombie”. It appears that the band has found a winning lineup after experiencing some turnover with band members over the past few years.
